Day 117 Snake Thistle
The Snake thistle is one of our wild flowers so pretty to look at not so good to touch.
Day 114 Pretty Yellow Butterflies
These pretty yellow butterflies were drinking from the damp sand in the Kruger National Park.
Day 113 Shaggy Inkcap Mushroom
According to our local mushroom expert Gary Goldman, this appears to be the Shaggy Ink Cap Mushroom, (scientifically known as the Coprinus comatus). This mushroom is edible, but needs to be cooked and consumed before it deliquesces (turns into ink). The ink is what Coprinus ink used to made out of. It is said to have a delicate flavour.
Day 94 Baobab Tree
The Baobab Tree is one of the giants of African trees that have many uses from the fruit to the bark. The size of the tree gives me the feeling of security and stability.
